Get ready to knock your socks off! This recipe has become a favorite of my husband and kids lately. I took our Blazin' Buffalo dip mix and jazzed it up a bit to make a hot buffalo chicken dip fit for any party or just regular old family dinner. This technique works well for just about all of our dip mixes as well, let your imagination run wild!
Blazin' Buffalo Chicken Dip
2- boneless, skinless chicken breasts cooked and chopped up (any equivalent meat will do...canned, thighs, bone in- if you use bone in, pull the meat off the bones)
1- packet of A Spice Above Blazin Buffalo dip mix
1- 8 oz package of cream cheese softened (Any brand will do. I use full fat, it tastes better and doesn't have added ingredients)
1/2 cup sour cream (We use full fat Daisy)
1/2 cup mayo (We use Hellmans or Kraft- again full fat)
1 cup shredded cheese (I usually use cheddar)
Preheat oven to 350. Mix the softened cream cheese with the mayo and sour cream. Add in the pack of dip mix and mix thoroughly. Add in the shredded cheese and mix well. Add in the chicken and stir to mix. Put the mixture in a glass baking dish and pop in the oven until it is bubbly and heated through. Serve with crackers, celery, or tortilla chips for an appetizer. For a yummy dinner, serve over baked potatoes with a side of broccoli. YUM!
